Japan went on the offensive right from the word go and built a healthy lead in the first quarter of an hour that helped them come through a forgettable phase in the third period in their 65-43 Finals win over Korea, that ended their 43-year drought on top of the podium in FIBA Asia Championship for Women on Sunday.
